The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has decided to continue with the old system in terms of eligibility criteria. IBPS Clerk 2015 Age Limit & Educational Qualifications

Age Limitations: Candidates age should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01-08-2015 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1987 and not later than 01-08-1995 Both date inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable and it will be consider according to details given below.

Educational Qualification: Educational qualification for IBPS Clerical Cadre (CWE Clerks-V) exam is given below. Candidates must have following essential Academic Qualification as on 01-08-2015.
Academic Qualification: A Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate. They also have to indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

Proficiency in Local Language: Candidates must be able to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT for which candidates is applying. Question can also be put at the time of interview to ascertain the candidate’s familiarity with the Official Language of the State/UT.

If candidates are called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.08.2015. Candidate having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 10.08.2015.

Note: All the required educational qualifications should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 01-08-2015.
