The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Constable (GD) Examination once in a year. This year too, SSC has notified SSC Constable Examination which will be held in them month of October. All those candidates who already have applied and qualified in SSC Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are looking for Constable GD exam syllabus in order to preparing for SSC Constable written examination 2015.

SSC Constable GD Exam Syllabus:

What to study and how to study for SSC Constable 2015, is one of the most frequently asked question by all those candidates who are going to appear for SSC Constable examination 2015. As we all know, the SSC Constable examination will consist of a written examination and skill test in stenography. Fortunately, SSC provides syllabus for Constable (GD) Examination.

SSC Constable Syllabus:

The written examination for will be held of the following subjects for the post of Constable GD posts followed by Medical test respectively. General Intelligence & Reasoning:
It would include questions of both Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Knowledge and General Awareness:
Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Elementary Mathematics:
This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

Candidate’s ability to understand basic English/ Hindi, his basic comprehension would be tested.

Note: The Commission will not take cognizance of representations regarding the Question Paper of Written Examination, received later than ten days after placement of answer keys on the website.
Note: The questions in all the above components will be of Matriculation level.
