  • English Language: (20 marks)
  • Hindi Language: (20 marks)
  • Mathematics of matriculation standard: (25 marks)
  • General knowledge and current affairs: (25 marks)

Full Marks (100) = 90 (Written Exam) + 10 (Interview)

There will be both Objective type as well as subjective type questions in examination. The written test shall be of 90 marks and viva-voce of 10 marks.

Bihar Court Clerk, Typist, Stenographer Exam Syllabus.

General Knowledge or Awareness: 25 Marks

Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General awareness. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events or affairs.

  • Current Affairs: In this section questions will be asked on this Contemporary topics i.e. National, International, Award, Sports, Person in News, Events, Game, Players, Currency, Country, Capital, Books author, Defence, Relation etc.
  • Traditional GK: In this section questions will be on Static GK. This will cover topic from Indian History, Neighbour Country History, Art & Culture, Indian Geography, Economics, Freedom Fights, Indian Agriculture, Natural Resources, Indian Constitutions, Politics System in India, Five year plan, National Fights and some GK based on Bihar.
  • General Science: In this section questions will be asked from these subjects; Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Arithmetic/ Math: 25 Marks

In this section question will be from these chapter. They are as follows; Number System, Decimal Number, LCM, HCF, Simplification, Work and Time, Time and Distance, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Average etc.

English Language: 20 Marks

In this section questions will be about Letter writing, essay, précis, comprehension and vocabulary etc.

Hindi Language: 20 Marks

In this section questions will be about Letter writing, essay, précis, comprehension and vocabulary etc.
