SSC CGL Case Status! The bench of Hon'ble Supreme Court Sh. Justice G S Singhvi and Hon'ble Sh. Justice Anil R. Dave is expected to pronounce its verdict in few days time. According to the Supreme Court Decision, SSC CGL 2016 Exam might be cancelled. Things will be finalized soon. Next hearing is on 5th May 2017.

The big thing is Prashant Bhushan appeared against SSC in Supreme Court Case to cancel Tier 2 of SSC CGL 2016.

The Supreme Court on Thursday, hearing the case against scam in SSC CGL (Graduate Level) exam took a big decision and ordered investigation in SSC CGL 2016 irregularities issue. This investigation will be headed by committee of 2 judges as per petitioner demand. They have to file their report by 5th May 2017 which is the date of next hearing.

As of now, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be continuing with further selection procedures.

SSC CGL 2016 Examination Details:

  • Notification: February-March 2016
  • Tier-I Exam: 27th August to 11th September 2016
  • Tier-II Exam: 30th November, 1,2nd December 2016
  • Tier-III Exam: 19th March 2017
  • Tier-IV Exam: April-May 2017

CCTV footages at the 34 Centres need to be examined, as per the decision taken by the Supreme Court.

We are informed that Hon'ble Sh. Justice G.S. Singhvi and Hon'ble Sh. Justice Anil R. Dave, former Judges of this Court, have graciously consented to render assistance in the matter.

It will be open to the Hon'ble Judges to seek any technical assistant from the Staff Selection commission or for that matter, from any other source.

We request the Hon'ble Judge to undertake this exercise confidentially and a report, after the examination, be also forwarded confidentialy to this Court.

We make it clear that this is without prejudice to the contentions available to the respondents and the examination, as above, shall not, in any way, affect the ongoing of selection.

Now it’s clear, due to Sify, SSC has to face courts issues once again. As no stay order passed on SSC CGL 2016, recruitment procedure will be further commenced as per schedule.

The case finally got some good news. Things will be finalised soon on 5th May, If reports are found against Staff Selection Commission (SSC), stay order will automatically be passed as Judge said without investigation stay order on SSC CGL 2016 can't be passed.
