As all of you are aware that The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have once again invited fresh post preferences from candidates who appeared in 2nd stage CBT for various posts of NTPC (Graduate) against CEN 03/2015. Here in this page,

Fresh Post Preference for RRB NTPC 03/2015

Consequent upon the implementation of recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) after the publication of CEN-03/2015, the post of Assistant Station Master (ASM) notified with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- has been upgraded & merged with the post of Station Master (SM) in Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-. Similarly, the Grade Pay of the post of Traffic Assistant notified at Rs. 2000/- has been enhanced to Rs. 2400/-.

All the candidates who have appeared in the 2nd Stage CBT during 17th to 19th January, 2017 are accordingly hereby advised to exercise option of filling fresh preferences. The exercise of the option must be made within the period from 08.05.2017 to 14.05.2017 through the link provided on the websites of respective RRBs.

FAQ on Re-Exercising RRB NTPC Post Preference Order

Railway Boards (RRBs) have finally invited Fresh Order of Preferences for various NTPC (Graduate) posts from candidates appeared in 2nd Stage Exam (CBT). Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for exercising fresh preference(s) of Posts of NTPC (Graduate) against CEN-03/2015 are as follows:

Q. Who can login on this portal?
Ans. Only those candidates who appeared in the 2nd stage Exam (CBT) for NTPC (Graduate) posts against CEN 03/2015 are eligible to login and exercise fresh post preference (s).

Q. After submission of fresh post preference (s), What will happen to the old post preference(s) submitted at the time of online application,?
Ans. Candidates’ post preferences exercised during online application will stand ignored completely and fresh preference(s) of posts will be treated as final.

Q. If a candidate does not avail the opportunity of fresh preference(s)?
Ans. In this case, the old post preference (s) exercised at the time of online application will be deemed as final to the extent of available posts as on date.

Q. What will be the duration of availability of portal for exercising preference(s) of posts?
Ans. The portal will be available from 08.05.2017 to 14.05.2017 in the websites of respective RRBs. No further time will be extended on any ground for exercising post preference (s)beyond the above mentioned period and post preference (s) in any other form will not be accepted.

Q. How many times a candidate can exercise fresh preference(s) of posts?
Ans. It can be submitted only once.Once the preference(s) of posts are confirmed and submitted, it cannot be modified further.

Q. Whether the candidate can save and print fresh preference(s) of posts?
Ans. Yes, a candidate can save and print fresh preference(s) of posts.

Q. Whether a candidate can exercise fresh preference(s) of posts with respect to all available posts?
Ans. Yes, a candidate has to exercise complete preferences with respect to all available posts subject to his/her eligibility.The earlier post preference(s) stand ignored in toto as soon as the fresh preference(s) of posts are confirmed and submitted.

Q. Is there any provision of Helpdesk to guide the candidates?
Ans. Yes, Helpdesk is available in the portal to the candidates who appeared in the 2nd stage CBT of NTPC (Graduate) posts.

The result of RRB NTPC 2nd stage CBT will be processed on the basis of fresh preferences so exercised.
